President’s Day Categories Game

True confession: I had to do some research to fill all the boxes. To me, that’s not as much fun as mulling it over and coming up with an answer on my own. But if you can’t think of a word for some of these categories, I have to admit – I’m glad I’m not alone!

When doing a Categories game, think of a word or phrase beginning with the indicated letter. If nothing comes immediately to mind, get creative. You want any word or phrase that connects to the category, no matter how remotely. Think of nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives. Consider every aspect of the category. For example, if you’re trying to think of a word related to Baseball, you might name something used in the game, like “bat” or a team, like “Boston Red Sox.”

Of course, you can do these simple games by just thinking up answers. But I will include a downloaded version, in case you would like a hard copy. On the second page of the downloaded version, you will find my answers.

Have Fun!
