Have you ever seen a UFO? Would you like to see a UFO? If you would, maybe Skyport, Texas, is the place for you.
Citizens of this farming-ranching community have been seeing strange lights at night for decades. And when Ginny Connor, a young rancher’s wife, disappeared over 100 years ago, her husband insisted she was the victim of an alien abduction.
That’s why local residents named the town Skyport – it was a gateway to the stars!
Fast Forward to January, 2020
Little wonder, then, that when 14-year-old Lilli Park disappears without a trace, many people believe she is the second Skyport victim of alien abductors. After all, who could want to harm her? She’s just a kid, who wants to go to school, learn all she can, prepare to be an astronomer, and take care of her pet zebra Hubble.
No one but a monster would want to harm this gentle, intelligent teenager. So, here’s the BIG question. What kind of monster stole her? An earthly monster or an extraterrestrial monster?
Find Lilli
As soon as it becomes apparent that Lilli is truly missing, her classmates create a Facebook page, “Find Lilli.” The whole town of Skyport and all the surrounding communities participate in the search and the Facebook page.
Police detective Caleb Carson heads up the investigation. In spite of Lilli’s youth and gentle personality, he is at no loss for suspects. With the help of County Sheriff Lucas Moreno, he scrutinizes Lilli’s family, friends, classmates, teachers, and even an ex-con. The only suspect he doesn’t look for is the E.T. named Aziz.
Lilli’s Song?
What is Lilli’s song you may ask? The issue doesn’t come up until the last chapter, Chapter 20. So, you will have plenty of time to observe Lilli, her personality, and her dreams. See if you can predict what songs two of Lilli’s admirers will say describe her perfectly.
Who knows? You may come up with an even better choice than they do!
