The For Fun page of bettyjohansen.com will consist of 1) Word Searches with Hidden Messages and 2) Categories. You will be able to download them and print them out in order to complete them. Of course, Categories can be enjoyed without printing them, but I will provide the download, in case you prefer a hard copy.

Word Searches – When you download a word search, the hidden message will be written on the second page, along with information about the source of the message. I am unable to provide an “answer key” word search showing the location of the words/phrases, but any time you’re unable to find an entry in a Word Search, please make a comment below it, and I’ll get back to you with the solution. Or an apology if I’ve messed up.

Categories – When doing a Categories game, think of a word or phrase beginning with the indicated letter. If nothing comes immediately to mind, get creative. You want any word or phrase that connects to the category. Think of nouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives. Consider every aspect of the category. For example, if you’re trying to think of a word related to Baseball, you might name something used in the game, like “bat” or a team, like “Boston Red Sox.”

Of course, these are extremely simple puzzles. However, I never tire of them, and the puzzle books I purchase never offer enough of them. On the second page of the downloaded version, I will give my answers. I hope you enjoy Categories as much as I do!
