“I don’t want any guns in my house, not even a nerf gun.”
The person who made this statement is the mother of twin four-year-olds. She is a character in a whodunit I listened to recently. I’m guessing many people, especially mothers, applauded the sentiment. They probably don’t want guns in their houses either.
It’s certainly a politically correct attitude. The dark, stealthy currents flowing through the United States and manipulating public opinion have resolutely taken aim at the second amendment. And many people, like sheep, are buying into the treacherous propaganda.
Spirit of the Antichrist
I’ve just finished reading J.B. Hixson’s Spirit of the Antichrist, the Gathering Cloud of Deception, Volume One* and begun reading Volume Two. To say I am horrified at the information Mr. Hixson reveals would be an understatement. I guess his most appalling revelations involve the length of time and the extent to which the U.S. government has been involved in sabotaging the liberty and security of its citizens.
Of course, it had already become obvious, even to me, that the whole COVID fiasco was a scheme many governments, including mine, were using to empower themselves at the expense of their people. And I’ve known for decades that the mainstream media are liars.
But what about the suggestion that explosives had been pre-positioned in the towers of the World Trade Center before the arrival of the doomed airliners? Now, who could have been responsible for that monstrous betrayal? And was it just coincidence that officials accountable for national security happened to be looking the other way when those airliners flew toward the twin towers?
Other Atrocities
Hixson explores such issues as CIA control of the media, fake history, government control of American children through public education, the way Republicans and Democrats seem to provide identical results when they govern, and geoengineering. (Geoengineering is about controlling the weather. Did you realize our government is preaching “greenness” and the cleansing of the atmosphere while they fill the air with toxic particles like aluminum, strontium, and barium? Hixson quotes Lyndon Johnson, saying in 1962, “…he who controls the weather will control the world.” page 125)
And that brings us to the C word: CONTROL. There are forces at work in our world that are single-mindedly dedicated to achieving world domination.
It all began in Eden when the devil declared war on God and His creation man. The war has been going on ever since, but hostilities are escalating as we draw ever closer to the Great Tribulation described in the Bible book of Revelation.
Demonic powers have consolidated their efforts in a group of people Hixson refers to as the Luciferian Conspiracy. He names many of them, and you probably already know who they are. Do you also know that their great, over-arching goal is population reduction? Nothing will satisfy them except to rid the planet of about 7 billion people! The COVID planned-demic must have been a great disappointment to them. But never fear, they still have their so-called vaccination, which has had lethal results. And if they’re lucky, it may prove even deadlier in the future.
Fire Power
As I was reading, and trembling at the enormity of the strength and cunning wielded by the global elites, I was struck by the certainty that the only earthly power holding them in check is gun ownership. You take guns away from good, honest citizens and it will be a race to see who can destroy us first – the criminals or the government.
Of course, now you’re horrified. What? Use guns against our government?
I don’t think we’re at that point yet, but I do believe the ability of average citizens to defend ourselves is a massive deterrent to the hostile forces at work in our land. And let’s be real. We live in a cruel, ruthless world. For starters, look at the food chain – predators kill and eat their prey on a daily basis. Or they die.
An Example from the Bible
A Biblical example of the brutality of life is the war for the Promised Land, as described in the book of Joshua. God instructed the Israelites to clear out the land completely – either execute or drive out every single person. They were to allow no foreigners (= idolaters) to live among them.
But the Israelite army failed to obey. When they quit fighting, some of the natives remained in the land. I always thought that fact was pure disobedience on the part of God’s people, especially since their disobedience eventually led to disaster.
But when I got a New International Version of the Bible, it made a different perspective very clear. In the NIV, Judges 3:1 says that God left some nations in the land to test the people. And then comes verse 2: “…(he did this only to teach warfare to the descendants of the Israelites who had not had previous battle experience)…”
So, as usual, God dealt with disobedience by using it to benefit His people. Obviously, He intended for Israel to maintain a trained army. He recognized that we live in a dangerous world, and He expected His people to participate in their own defense. He wanted them to be prepared to do so.
Our Enemy
Likewise, I believe it is both reasonable and necessary for citizens of any nation to be armed. After all, as I mentioned above, our only earthly defense is firearms. However, we must never forget that the government is not our ultimate enemy. And guns are not our only defense.
The apostle Paul says it best, “…we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:12, KJV)
If it is inconceivable to you that ordinary men and women – men and women just like you and me – are actually as evil as they seem, please understand that they are not acting under mere human motives. They are no longer ordinary men and women. They have surrendered their wills to occult powers, which are merciless.
As Paul points out in Ephesians 6, dark principalities and powers seize rulership in this world. And let’s be honest – if “high places” just means they’re floating around in the atmosphere, who cares? No, “spiritual wickedness in high places” must refer to powerful government officials who have abdicated their natural humanity and common sense to the forces of hell. No wonder they’re heartless monsters!
Our Equipment
Fortunately, the apostle graciously explains how we can wage war with the principalities and powers that hate us. “…be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might,” he counsels us. (Ephesians 6:10, KJV) And then he tells us how – put on the whole armor of God:
* the belt of truth
* the breastplate of righteousness
* the preparation of the gospel of peace for our footwear
* the shield of faith
* the helmet of salvation
* the Word of God as our sword - our offensive weapon
Paul wraps up his battle plan for the church with a command to pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit. (Ephesians 6:18, KJV)
Notice that Paul uses the term “armor.” Of course he does – we are at war. But we are ready. God, our General, is fully sufficient to provide our every need!
And so, as we face a new year today, we have to acknowledge that the future is frightening. But, in Christ, our strategy and our defense are flawless. We can be certain that we are better prepared than the crew of the starship Enterprise ever was to “boldly go where no man has gone before.”
